Responsibilities

Assist in planning, development, and implementation of long term and short term strategic initiatives for surgery centers within the Division market
Assist in creating operating efficiencies between surgery centers when / where possible, within their market/division
Shared responsibility with Vice Presidents of Operations for membership of Division center Governing Boards and Board of Managers, as well as attendance at Physician Partnership meetings
Provides input for managed care contracting to ensure market initiatives are met
Assist VPO as needed with recruitment and hiring the most qualified ethically sound, and economically effective executive management personnel for the ambulatory surgery centers within the market/territory
Preparation and presentation of operational and financial reports as required
Key market contact between Division ASC’s and Central Supply Chain leadership. Oversight of market supply savings initiatives
Directs the following market wide initiatives: Productivity-Staffing Expense Management/Improvement and Supply Expense Management
Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
Other duties as assigned based on business operational needs

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Health, Business Administration or a related field is required; however, a Master's degree is highly preferred
Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement
Minimum 5 years of experience within a surgery center, ASC Central Business Office, Hospital or related field is required

Preferred

Master's degree is highly preferred
Multi-facility experience preferred
