The Engineering Manager will effectively lead the Chassis Engineering team, ensuring successful execution of core and peripheral functions while overseeing a large team and managing engineering standards and practices.

Responsibilities
Lead engineering department and processing documents for all fabrication
Overseeing programming of all machinery
New SKU creation, routes, and BOMs
Training the programming team on all aspects of new and existing machinery
Recruit and onboard new team members
Oversee a 30+ member team
Directly manage 4-6 Team Leaders
Develop current and potential team leaders to become more effective at their current or future roles
Communicate/cooperate with Operations on product or process improvement initiatives
Communicate/cooperate with Sales to effectively field requests or complications from OEMs
Communicate/cooperate with OEMs to effectively field requests or complications
Uphold, develop and implement Engineering standards and practices to maintain and/or further the advancement of the Engineering department though how it operates or the product it manages
Oversee and assist in team member engagement strategies
Advocate on behalf of team members by securing adequate resources for success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Auto CAD
SolidWorks
Sigmanest
Robowave
Lantek
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
Proven Leadership experience in a similar industry
Public speaking ability
Strong organization and time management skills
