Architecture
Responsibilities
Develop architectural and interior design drawings using Archicad, AutoCAD, and related design and visualization tools, including imagery and storyboarding
Produce design and construction documents for assigned projects
Evaluate, select, and apply standard architectural and engineering design techniques and procedures
Coordinate architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and special systems drawings with consultants and stakeholders
Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain schedules and ensure accountability to project deadlines
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address design requirements and support on-time, on-budget project delivery
Research, select, and coordinate materials, equipment, and fixtures in alignment with project goals and standards
Assist the team in resolving complex or unusual design challenges, both functionally and creatively
Share ideas, insights, and lessons learned with the broader team
Educate and advise colleagues on design standards and procedures
Translate technical information into clear, accessible formats for non-technical audiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience under the supervision of a New York State licensed architect
Ability to use BIM Software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Planner, and Adobe Creative Suite
Basic understanding of New York State Building Codes, zoning codes, ANSI standards, and applicable local municipal regulations within New York State
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch)
Proficiency in Archicad
Ability to render in platforms such as Enscape
