Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities
High volume appointment scheduling and phone calls
Schedule appointments following protocols
Obtain, verify and input all information accurately into scheduling system
Conduct insurance verification
Provide customer service to patients
Demonstrate courteous and professional behavior when dealing with patients
Resolve patient inquiries or escalate for solution
Routing calls to proper departments
Perform all other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette
Preferred
6 months of clerical experience
Experience working in physician practice
Experience in a call center
Experience with an appointment scheduling system
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual in Spanish
