Responsibilities
Guide a client through the residential design process by listening to their needs
Help coordinate fabrics, furniture, textures and colors that will create inspiring spaces for living
Sell ideas and the products associated with home furnishings projects
Communicate effectively with clients and staff
Complete training requirements as necessary
Qualification
Required
Ability to sell your ideas and the products associated with home furnishings projects
Excellent relational skills
A great eye for design, and putting rooms together
Passion for new trends, color, technology and home furnishings, and the ability to guide clients through the design process for their homes / businesses
Ability to relate to clients with Excitement, Integrity, and Creativity
Must enjoy working in fast-paced environment, with ability to help multiple clients simultaneously on busy days
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff
Completion of training requirements as necessary
Previous sales and design experience required, preferably in the home furnishings field
Preferred
Previous experience in the home furnishings industry is a huge plus
