INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR II

Responsibilities
Planning, organizing and managing the functions of new development, production support and enhancements of the Department’s Enterprise Resource Planning and various modified commercial-off-the-shelf business applications
Enforcing and ensuring compliance with internal and external information technology policies and regulations
Providing direction for assignment of resources and establishing a balance among competing objectives to accomplish office goals
Allocating resources necessary to implement prioritized programs, projects and tasks in support of the Department's mission and strategic goals
Coordinating activities with internal and external entities as necessary to accomplish departmental objectives
Facilitating the identification, documentation, clarification and simplification of work processes to identify areas of improvement to increase effectiveness in providing services to the customer
Setting standards for quality services and products based on sound research, customer feedback and reasonable performance expectations
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required. Failure to submit a SOQ will disqualify candidates from the hiring process
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
Preferred

Skilled in project supervising processes and reporting systems to enhance performance and accuracy
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including stakeholders and end-users in an understandable format
Continuous learning and sharing of best practices to enhance data solutions and team knowledge
