Schedule procedures in the Surgical Services departments
Act as a liaison to physicians and their offices
Operate and help maintain the computer system
Enter and maintain assigned daily charges and statistical information
Rotate to other surgical services departments as needed
Qualification
Required
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
High school diploma/GED required
One to three years experience as a unit secretary or scheduler
Basic to advanced knowledge of computers
Typing and word processing skills required
Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills in medical terminology
Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers
Preferred
Skills with scheduling systems preferred
