Required

Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution
Applicants must meet all university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor
Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service
Applicants must have an outstanding record of scholarly publications in refereed and other professional journals

Preferred

Significant record of scholarship in a department with undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Chemical Engineering
Post-doctoral experience or other similar post-graduate experience
Experience working in a multicultural and diverse environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Current academic appointment in a tenure-track or tenured position in Chemical Engineering or closely related field
Strong record of external research funding with present and past research grants as a principal investigator and of successfully supervising multiple masters and doctoral students in research projects, advising undergraduate researchers, and mentoring post-doctoral researchers
