Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects of all equipment assigned to the department
Sharpening and height adjustments of all cutting units
General overhaul and maintenance of motors/small engines
Prepares requisitions and orders parts/supplies required to perform such repairs
Qualification
Required
Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a valid Hawaii State driver's license
Experience and knowledge in repairs of small rotary mowers and hand-held equipment, and electrical circuitry
Must have a background and certification in factory-supervised training
Previous related experience is required
Preferred
Golf course mechanic experience in grinding, sharpening, and adjusting reel mowers is preferred
