Integration Project Manager

Volarify is seeking an experienced Integration Project Manager to drive successful post-acquisition integrations and internal strategic initiatives. This role involves owning project schedules, ensuring accountability, and facilitating communication across teams to support operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for integration efforts and internal strategic initiatives
Identify key milestones, dependencies, and timelines across functional workstreams
Monitor progress closely and proactively flag risks or delays
Lead regular integration meetings to review status, drive decisions, and remove blockers
Facilitate structured meetings for internal strategic initiatives with clear objectives and outcomes
Track, manage, and follow through on action items with cross-functional owners
Maintain organized, centralized project documentation
Provide consistent, structured updates to internal executives and acquired company leadership
Tailor communications for different audiences including C-suite, project sponsors, internal teams, and acquired leaders
Prepare concise reports and summaries to ensure executive-level visibility across initiatives
Proactively identify roadblocks and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues
Escalate critical risks when needed and recommend mitigation strategies
Support leaders in troubleshooting challenges related to integration and strategic initiative execution
Collaborate across HR, IT, Finance, Operations, Sales, and other departments to align timelines and deliverables
Ensure clarity around roles, responsibilities, and ownership throughout integrations and initiatives
Act as a cultural bridge during early integration phases and reinforce alignment during strategic projects
Provide structure, tools, and project discipline for internal strategic initiatives such as systems implementations, process redesign, operational improvements, and organizational changes
Partner with the Chief of Staff and executive sponsors to define scope, objectives, milestones, and success metrics
Ensure initiatives remain on schedule, properly resourced, and aligned with corporate priorities
Support change management efforts to drive smooth adoption and effective communication

Required

5–8 years of project management experience; M&A integration experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage complex schedules and cross-functional dependencies
Strong meeting facilitation and action-tracking skills with a focus on accountability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high emotional intelligence
Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
Comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-moving, evolving environments
Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% to support post-close collaboration and relationship building
