Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
Advise clients on estate and tax planning strategies
Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters
Prepare and file court documents for probate and estate administration
Handle trust and estate litigation, including contested probate matters
Conduct legal research and analysis on complex trust and estate issues
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop tailored estate plans
Manage client relationships and work independently while also working as part of a team
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
2+ years of experience in Trust & Estates law, with a focus on estate planning, administration, and probate litigation
Strong knowledge of New York Trusts & Estates laws and procedures
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
