Responsibilities
Understanding commercial construction logistics, labor, material, and equipment handling
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications and translate the information to operational realities
Understanding of basic business practices, and ability to read and understand construction-related accounting reports
Facilitate the installation of mechanical systems
Coordinating labor with superintendents, job site foremen, and clients
Evaluating quotations
Selecting and managing sub-contractors
Equipment selection, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals and change orders
Qualification
Required
At least 1-3 years of experience (CM firm, Co-op, or internship) and knowledge of all phases of construction management including:
History of assisting on the management HVAC and Mechanical Construction projects in the Connecticut Market
Provide clear and articulate direction to team-members
Exceptional organizational skills
Experience with pre-construction, estimating RFIs, change orders, and submittals
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Strong administrative skills--the ability to maintain clear notes, keep organized records and time-management

For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa

Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, P6, MS Office, and other construction-related software preferred
