Responsibilities

Define and implement a test automation strategy aligned with project goals and client expectations
Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Java, and other scripting languages
Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Explore and implement Generative AI solutions to enhance automation efficiency (e.g., script generation, test data creation, defect prediction)
Lead onsite automation activities, mentor offshore teams, and ensure timely delivery of automation scripts and execution results

Required

10+ years of experience in Test Automation with domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Claims Applications
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Java, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript preferred)
Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred

Exposure to AI-driven test automation tools and techniques, including prompt engineering
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, Browser Stack)
Knowledge of API automation, performance testing tools (JMeter/Blaze meter), and microservices testing strategies
ETL test automation experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
