Responsibilities
Mentor and support assigned team members while remaining highly involved in the daily operations of the team
Assign daily tasks and set team priorities to ensure accurate and timely completion of work
Personally answer calls and complete departmental tasks in alignment with productivity and quality standards
Provide ongoing guidance by answering questions, resolving issues in a timely manner, and coaching team members
Review complex call scenarios, collaborate on solutions, and provide best-practice strategies to support future interactions
Assist team members in meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality expectations
Actively listen to and audit incoming telephone and email inquiries from patients, clinicians, insurance plans, and area sales managers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of health insurance billing experience
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role in an incoming call center environment
Typing speed of 35 or more words per minute, with 90% or greater accuracy
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
