Responsibilities
Review case files and client information to assess the merits of potential claims and determine pre-suit strategies
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, clarify details, and manage expectations
Draft and send demand letters, settlement proposals, and other pre-suit documents
Engage in pre-suit negotiations with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties
Coordinate with experts, investigators, and other professionals to strengthen the case
Analyze case details, conduct legal research, and develop appropriate pre-suit strategies
Maintain accurate records of case progress, client interactions, and settlement efforts
Ensure compliance with all relevant statutes of limitations and other legal requirements
Provide guidance to clients on potential outcomes and next steps in the pre-suit process
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Florida
At least 4 years of experience in personal injury or pre-suit litigation
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Exceptional research and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
A strong work ethic and dedication to client satisfaction
