Responsibilities

Senior Payroll Specialist will lead monthly payroll for financial advisors, ensuring accurate commission and bonus payments
Design and implement process improvements and automation
Serve as liaison for advisor compensation matters
Conduct audits and risk assessments
As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will analyze compensation trends and prepare reports
Manage complex commission scenarios (buyouts, recoveries, transitions)
Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with payroll regulations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 11+ years equivalent experience
7+ years of payroll experience with commission-based compensation (securities industry preferred)
Project management experience
Excellent communication and collaboration
Advanced MS Office and payroll systems (ADP preferred)
Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
