The role involves analyzing complex system requirements, supporting software processes, and promoting code reuse while also engineering and documenting automation scripts.

Responsibilities

Complete software development tasks both individually and as a member of an agile team

Actively participate in program increment planning and related team activities

Analyze and study complex system requirements

Use design software tools and provide support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques with the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools

Use sound software engineering principles to ensure that developed code is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault-tolerant, and reusable

Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process

Promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration by creating common functions and shared actions for developers and testers

Engineer, author, tune and document automation scripts in a development environment and deploy to the test/production bench

Required

TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required at start

710+ years of relevant experience

Strong development background in Java/J2EE

Experience with Spring, SQL, UI development, and automation scripting

Agile team experience, ideally with SAFe

U.S. Citizenship (no visa sponsorship available)

Willingness to sit for Full Scope Polygraph

Python, C/C++, SOAP/WSDL/XML

Secure coding practices (Layer 7 Policy)

DevOps pipelines: Jenkins, Docker

Test automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Mockito, etc
