Develop and manage reinsurance programs in alignment with organizational goals

Collaborate closely with underwriting teams to assess risks and determine appropriate reinsurance solutions

Engage with carriers to negotiate terms and conditions that support business objectives

Analyze reinsurance performance and adjust strategies to enhance profitability

Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting reinsurance and underwriting practices

Provide training and support to internal teams on reinsurance principles and practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

8+ years of experience in reinsurance or underwriting

Experience managing a team/direct reports

Experience in an insurance/reinsurance company in reinsurance placements, terms & conditions, including statutory and reinsurance accounting implications

Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance products

Experience working with managing general agents (MGAs) and various insurance carriers

Excellent negotiation and communication skills
