Business Analyst Home Health Care Operations
Omega Home Health Care Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support agency operations, billing accuracy, compliance, and clinical workflow efficiency. The role involves serving as the agency’s data lead, building and maintaining advanced dashboards while analyzing various healthcare data to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.

Responsibilities
Serve as the agency’s primary data and analytics lead across operations, pre-billing, quality assurance, staffing, and finance
Develop and maintain agency-wide KPI dashboards (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI) covering:
Billing timeliness
Documentation compliance
OASIS accuracy
Clinician productivity
Missed visits / reassessments
PDGM reimbursement trends
Claims cycle timelines
Employee performance metrics
Act as the “source of truth” for operational metrics, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity
Translate ambiguous operational concerns into structured analytical questions
Conduct deep analyses of claims, EVV, visit notes, and documentation patterns to identify drivers of delays or denials
Partner with the CEO to evaluate operational risks, growth opportunities, staffing needs, and financial trends
Evaluate pre-billing workflows to identify bottlenecks, automate repetitive tasks, and standardize processes
Build dashboards and automated reporting systems in:
Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PowerQuery, macros, etc)
SharePoint lists & embedded dashboards
Power BI
Design reports that answer real business questions and are easy for non-technical staff to understand
Extract, clean, merge, and validate data from EMR systems (Data Soft Logic etc), EVV sources, billing platforms, and internal spreadsheets
Develop basic automations or data pipelines (PowerQuery, Power Automate, Python etc
Ensure the reliability and timeliness of all data used in dashboards and reports
Work with nursing leadership, QA, intake, and pre-billing to identify trends and operational inefficiencies
Support compliance by identifying gaps in timeliness, accuracy, and documentation
Facilitate data-driven conversations, challenge assumptions, and provide recommendations
Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve workflow efficiency, data validation, or reporting standardization
Provide suggestions on scalable improvements and automations to accelerate agency operations
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in Business Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, or Revenue Cycle Analytics (home health preferred but not required)
Advanced Excel skills (INDEX/MATCH/XLOOKUP, PowerQuery, pivot automation, conditional dashboards)
Strong experience building dashboards in Power BI, SharePoint, or similar BI platforms
Ability to analyze and interpret clinical, billing, claims, or compliance data
Experience cleaning and transforming large datasets
Strong communication skills: able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff
High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
Experience in home health operations, PDGM models, or OASIS data
Knowledge of EMR systems like Data Soft Logic
Experience with Power Automate, SQL, and Python
Previous experience leading system improvements or building scalable reporting infrastructure
Experience using Generative AI tools for workflow optimization
Project management certification or experience
