Calico is a company specializing in home design, and they are seeking an Interior Design Consultant to guide customers in selecting fabrics and custom products. The role involves working both in-store and at customers' homes, utilizing design expertise and sales skills to create personalized living spaces.

Responsibilities

Working both at the store and in the home of the customers, our Designers use their expertise to guide customers in the selection of fabrics, trims, custom window treatments, bedding, and upholstered furniture to create the rooms of their dreams

Track record of delivering exceptional sales results

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and be detailed in your work

A positive attitude and work ethic

Specialty retail experience preferred

A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to provide your own transportation for in home customer visits

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and climb service ladders throughout your scheduled shifts

Must be able to lift and control merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs

Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time
