Responsibilities
Analysis of denied and underpaid hospital claims
Researching outstanding claims balances using online client and payor portals
Drafting and preparing of appeals to advocate for appropriate reimbursement from payors
Organizing, managing, and maintaining documents received from clients, insurance organizations and third-party administrators
Accurately and timely documenting all claims progress, status updates, and resolution activities in our proprietary claims platform
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience
Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced to intermediate Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess a sense of ownership and personal accountability
Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
Willing to work in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations impacting claims reimbursement, such as the No Surprises Act
Familiarity with platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Salesforce, or Allscripts
