The Technical Specialist will oversee technical aspects during theater use, assist with lighting and sound operations, and ensure proper care of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities
Overseeing all technical aspects of the theater while in use by CPSD, the City of Cambridge and outside renters
Ensuring proper use and care of CPS equipment and the facility by preparing the space for the arrival of the user
Assisting with the operation of theatrical lighting and sound
Advising staging and possible stagecraft development
Qualification
Required
Experience and strong knowledge of technical theater
Knowledge of technical theater boards, panels and equipment
Customer Service experience
Familiarity with the Eos family of lighting control
Familiarity with the Soundcraft Digital series of sound control
Basic microphone and speaker placement and use
Good working knowledge of computers (pc/mac) and projectors
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work with young learners and community members
