AE2S is an award-winning civil/environmental engineering firm seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT). The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of project management and design engineers, developing skills in electrical system studies and design tasks with an emphasis on personal and career development.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical engineering design tasks focused in the areas of water, wastewater, municipal, and process industrial projects

Assist in the design of power distribution systems, instrumentation and control (SCADA) systems, access control and security systems, fire alarm systems, and backup power generation systems

Assist Project Managers with the development and preparation of reports, studies, plans, specifications, and estimates

Assist Project Managers in the design, bidding and construction of electrical systems

Maintain project and company tracking information in Deltek software platform

Attend internal and external design review meetings and coordinate with other engineering disciplines

Qualification

Electrical Engineering degreeFundamentals in Engineering certificationAutoCAD experienceRevit experienceInternship experienceCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Fundamentals in Engineering certified or ability to obtain within 6 months

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to travel as required (less than 10%)

Preferred

AutoCAD and/or Revit experience

2 years internship experience related to electrical engineering
