Responsibilities

Develop, optimize & integrate wafer processes for optoelectronic components & devices - i.e. PIN Detectors, Edge-emitting lasers, VCSELS, Photonic Integrated Circuits, etc

Processes development, improvement throughout our onsite semiconductor fab

Process documentation, training material in prep for technology transfer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing processes

Project management responsibilities including preparing schedules, reports, vendor/client interaction, etc

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field

At least 1+ year of Optoelectronic component semiconductor wafer process experience

Hands-on experience with cleanroom processes i.e. wet/dry etching, PECVD, photo resist patterning, etc

DOE, SPC, FMEA are all a plus

III-V semiconductor fabrication, design experience

Familiarity with design and fabrication techniques for devices such as edge emitting lasers and PIN detectors a plus
