Responsibilities

Apply engineering expertise to design and implement world-class natural gas liquefaction processes and equipment
Perform advanced process cycle simulations for natural gas liquefaction and related systems
Complete detailed thermal design of proprietary heat transfer equipment (coil wound heat exchanger) manufactured by Honeywell LNG
Conduct relief and depressuring scenario simulations for proprietary equipment using established tools and methodologies
Support plant operations through startup, performance testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, project management, mechanical design, manufacturing, machinery, and start-up—to ensure seamless project execution, and drive product development and improvement
Participate in P&ID reviews and HAZOP studies at contractor offices to ensure safety and design integrity
Domestic and international travel to clients’ offices, contractors, and plant sites expected about 10-15 percent of the time

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
2+ years of experience in chemical engineering
1+ years of experience with process simulation software like ASPEN or UNISIM

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited institution
Experience in LNG liquefaction, cryogenic technology, or chemical manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Passion for safety, sustainability, and compliance
Advanced Engineering degrees such as MS, ME or PhD in Chemical Engineering
