Responsibilities
Leading project design calculations/reports/planning preparation/roadway modeling
Assisting office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations
Developing peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts
Coordinating project tasks and reporting to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking
Supporting Indianapolis and regional offices on a variety of infrastructure projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
3-5 years' Experience designing transportation projects
Technical knowledge/ computer skills: ACAD Civil 3D Bentley Open Roads Designer, Revit
Drainage software including StormCAD and CDSS
Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Adobe
Willingness to take on new challenges, skills, and competencies in a full-service engineering firm
Ability to effectively discuss project timeline and issues with internal teams, clients and review agencies
Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions
Capable of solving complex problems using professional judgement, creativity, collaboration, and innovation
Excellent time management skills and High attention to detail/quality of work produced
Service oriented demeanor
Preferred
Engineer in Training in Indiana, Registered Professional Engineer
Background working on INDOT, county, and municipal transportation design projects
