Volunteer Golf Outing Chair
Two Rivers YMCA is seeking a Volunteer Golf Outing Chair to provide leadership and oversight for their first golf outing, a fundraising event supporting community programs. The role involves planning, recruiting committee members, and ensuring a successful event that aligns with the YMCA's mission.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary volunteer leader for the golf outing
Partner with YMCA staff to establish event goals, timeline, and budget
Recruit and lead a volunteer planning committee
Facilitate committee meetings and help keep planning on track
Assist in identifying and securing sponsors, donors, and in-kind contributions
Leverage personal and professional networks to support fundraising efforts
Support sponsorship recognition and donor stewardship in collaboration with YMCA staff
Provide guidance on event details such as format, prizes, contests, and participant experience
Support logistics planning (registration, signage, volunteers, day-of flow)
Serve as an ambassador for the YMCA on event day, welcoming golfers and sponsors
Ensure the event reflects YMCA values and advances its mission
Help communicate the impact of the golf outing on YMCA programs and community benefit
Qualification
Required
Passion for the YMCA mission and commitment to community impact
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable engaging with sponsors, donors, and community partners
Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and YMCA staff
Preferred
Prior event planning or fundraising experience preferred (not required)
