Talent Acquisition Advisor

Responsibilities
Leverages established business relationships to advice and consult department leaders and hiring managers staffing strategies throughout hiring process
Leverages data-based metrics to identify trends in the talent acquisition process; utilizes information to advise/consult business leaders on opportunities to improve their talent acquisition process
Monitor and ensure 100% compliance of hiring process activities and resolve any discrepancies that may arise prior to completion of the hiring process
Proactively support the onboarding and development of new and less skilled Talent Acquisition Partners through best practice sharing and process validation to ensure success in role and customer satisfaction
Serves as point of contact for hiring managers and candidates throughout hiring process
Develops and implements effective and efficient recruiting strategies
Conducts intake meeting with hiring manager/s to discuss the position, the ideal candidate, advertising venues and recruitment strategies and processes for the search
Develops appropriate screening criteria to assess resumes and applications
Conducts phone screens to assess candidate skills, experience, salary requirements, availability and interest for staff roles
Demonstrated ability to schedule candidate interviews and facilitates post interview calibration meetings to further identify finalist candidates for positions
Provides verbal or written feedback regarding candidates to hiring managers and other stakeholders
Validates all online applications for accuracy
Ensures that all candidate statuses are documented consistently throughout the life-cycle
Works with HR Business Partner and hiring managers to understand client departments' objectives and anticipates staffing needs
Develops and executes tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruiting goals
Utilizes contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates
Build and maintain a skilled and diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities
Identifies ways to improve work processes and improve customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements, and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland
Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, actively participating in professional organizations, and/or maintaining certification or licensure. Integrates knowledge gained into current work practices
Maintains knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines that impact the area. Develops effective internal controls designed to promote adherence with applicable laws, accreditation agency requirements, and federal, state, and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as needed to ensure proper understanding
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred. Human Resources or Business Administration related fields desired
1-year of recruitment experience with a bachelor's degree required OR 3-years of recruitment experience with no bachelor's degree
Recruitment experience is defined as - job posting, sourcing candidates, resume review, interview process management, offer process management and onboarding
Must possess the ability to maintain ongoing knowledge of Parkland policy and procedures, federal and state laws regarding employment practices and provide updates to Talent Acquisition, HR Staff and department leadership
Must possess the ability to develop and maintain a strategic relationship with clients, HR Business Partners, Leadership & Organizational Development, and other HR functions
Must possess the ability to communicate with others in a clear, understandable and professional manner on the phone and in person; and demonstrate the use of good written and verbal communication skills
Must possess the ability to interact with peers, executives, and others in a manner that represents Parkland positively
Must possess the ability to learn and apply new information, knowledge and experiences in a timely manner
Must possess the ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
Must possess the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects and to prioritize
Preferred
Preferred experience in: Medical/healthcare staffing
Creation and execution of strategic recruitment plans, and initiatives
ATS tools to manage the recruiting process
Delivering staffing results
Creating/building effective relationship
Professional in Human Resources Certification desired (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
Development Dimensions International (DDI) Target Selection Interviewer and Trainer certification preferred
Prefer familiarity with PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition/Management solution
