Contract Liaison Specialist
DC Department of Human Resources is seeking a Contract Liaison Specialist for the Contract Administration Division. The role involves serving as a liaison on contract administration issues, assisting with acquisition activities, and ensuring effective communication and documentation flow within the agency.

Responsibilities
Serves as liaison between subordinate offices in maintaining an orderly flow of information regarding requisition documentation
Performs an on-going review of the requisitions and purchase orders under their purview and identifies any discrepancies, lack of funding or unusual problem areas while making appropriate recommendations for resolution
Consults with program managers regarding the purpose and specifications associated with their purchase request
Ensures that all request is supported by required approval documentation
Creates, modifies, and submits requested requisition by entering commodity or service specifications and requirements into the District's electronic procurement system (PASS)
Works with the Office of Chief Financial Officers (OCFO) to verify funding availability and obtain required funding attributes

Required
Specialized experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the line of progression
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers' license
