Responsibilities
Verifies all logs for scanned documents before they are sent to the warehouse for storage
Maintain department inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediating order for supplies bi-monthly; verifying receipt of supplies
Maintain computerized record management system to store and process data for medical and onsite Auditors' requests
Scan information into Electronic Health Record (EHR) as per established standards
Review and processes all requests for medical information to ensure HIPPA and New York State Laws compliance
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions is required, ideally in a health care setting
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional experience to patients
Understanding of medical terminology, computer skills, and multi-tasking
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred
