HR Manager
CFS is a well-known stable company seeking an HR Manager to join their solid team. The HR Manager will serve as the primary contact for employee relations, oversee performance management, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support recruiting efforts.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR contact for employee questions, concerns, and issue resolution
Oversee the performance review cycle, including goal-setting, mid-year and annual reviews
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws for a fully remote workforce (e.g., multistate HR compliance, leave administration, wage & hour rules)
Partner with benefits brokers and vendors for annual renewals, open enrollment, and ongoing administration
Support employees with health benefits, 401(k), wellness programs, and leave requests (FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, etc.)
Culture, Engagement & Internal Communications
Oversee and support the full-cycle recruiting process for a variety of technical and non-technical roles
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years in an HR Manager
Experience supporting distributed, multi-state populations
Fundamental knowledge of labor and employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, state-specific regulations)
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
Preferred
HR degree preferred
HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
