Responsibilities
Assist with overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Financial statements/reports, ME Close, GL management across complex, multi-entity GL, intercompany reconciliations
Franchise and project/cost accounting: multi-location, royalty, corporation, and marketing fee management
Team oversight and mentoring (offshore/onshore), systems/process improvements, cross-location communications
Oversee the GL, AP, AR, payroll, and other accounting functions
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany activities
Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and ad-hoc analysis
Assist in evaluating accounting processes, making recommendations and implementing improvements
ERP system improvements and implementation
Liaison for internal and external audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business or related
5+ years Accounting experience including some supervisory
Strong ME close, and GL management for multi-entity, project related, multi-location business
Proficiency in accounting software and Advanced Excel
Preferred
Project/costing/WIP and franchise accounting experience preferred
Construction/Engineering, Architecture/Design, industrial/facilities services, project manufacturing and/or similar related experience
