Responsibilities

Perform mortgage underwriting with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Evaluate loan applications to ensure adherence to internal, investor, and regulatory guidelines

Conduct financial analysis, reviewing employment, income, debts, and assets to determine borrower capacity

Review all loan documentation for accuracy and completeness

Calculate income, debt-to-income ratios, and loan-to-value ratios to ensure compliance with lending standards

Assess property appraisals and valuations for compliance

Ensure all loans meet company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements
