Responsibilities
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and related schedules
Analyze financial results, provide variance explanations, and support monthly reporting packages
Track and report financial trends by product line, business unit, and customer
Prepare audit schedules, tax-related reports, and international filings (EU/Canada) as needed
Analyze foreign currency transactions and assess their impact on financial results
Evaluate accounting and operational workflows to improve efficiency and identify risks and opportunities
Provide key business insights to management and support decision-making through accurate, timely analysis
Supervise and develop a Staff Accountant, while supporting ad hoc projects and cross-training within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2+ years of relevant accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge
Solid understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
CPA/CGMA preferred
