Sheet Metal Trade Foreman
RQ Construction, LLC is a leading player in the commercial and governmental Design-Build economy in the United States. They are seeking a Sheet Metal Trade Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction crews, ensuring quality work while adhering to project requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values
Observing, receiving, and obtaining information from relevant sources (e.g., subcontractors, senior managers, project engineers) and verifying data (e.g., researching building codes for compliance)
Analyzing information and evaluating results to select the best solutions for project issues
Developing specific goals and schedules to prioritize and complete work efficiently
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, subordinates, and external stakeholders in person, by phone, email, or written correspondence
Coordinating the work and activities of crew members to accomplish daily and long-term project objectives
Managing labor, materials, and time to ensure project milestones are achieved
Identifying hazards, inspecting work progress, and ensuring compliance with all specifications, laws, and RQ safety procedures
Building and maintaining cooperative working relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Foreman supervising the sheet metal trade on medium or large projects
Minimum three (3) years of field or trade experience in construction
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required
All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for)
Preferred
College coursework in construction management or engineering
Government, military, or large commercial project experience
Design-build experience
Experience fabricating sheet metal in various shapes for industrial and/or commercial-scale projects
