Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to the appropriate personnel
Support the enforcement of site access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry
Collaborate with Allied Universal supervisors and local law enforcement as needed for incident response and reporting
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related occurrences as required by site protocols
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client
Must be at least 21 years of age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
