Responsibilities

Assist the Engineer of Record in the design of mechanical healthcare systems
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other disciplines to provide full-range services to clients
Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements
Provide technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work
Provide technical training and development of staff
Assist in establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications
Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates
Coordinate with all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants
Technical interface with code officials and contractors

Required

Two-year degree in a technical field
Proficiency with Revit
10+ years of technical experience in the design of healthcare systems
Self-motivated and well organized
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Experience in the design of institutional, educational, healthcare, laboratory, and military projects
