They are seeking an Associate Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded storage firmware for their SFA product line, collaborating with team members throughout the development life cycle.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers
Isolate and resolve defects
Collaborate with local and remote team members
Be involved with all phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required

Qualification

Embedded firmware developmentC programmingPerlPythonAgile developmentTroubleshooting skillsCross-site developmentSource code controlDefect tracking systemsCommunication

Required

BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Entry-level with 1 year of experience with embedded firmware development
Experience in C would be beneficial
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills

Preferred

Experience in Perl or Python
Experience with phases of the development life cycle
Experience with agile development processes and scrum teams
Experience with cross-site development
Experience with source code control and defect tracking systems
