Responsibilities
Conducts process improvement studies and activities using IE tools and procedures to ensure the manufacturing jobs have efficient process flow and no quality or safety concerns exist
Studies Global Operation Sheets to understand the proper installation process for parts and develops standard times based on drawings. If improvement is identified for the installation of a given part, works with Process Engineering to confirm the new process meets standard requirements, and assists in any trials needed for the new process
Meets and communicates regularly with manufacturing teams to discuss any concerns related to staffing, process improvements, line speed adjustments, quality, safety, and material flow
Conducts capacity studies on equipment throughout the assigned area and communicates findings with the Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Process Engineering Teams
Qualification
Required
three to five years of related experience at a professional level
A four-year degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Engineering Technology
