Responsibilities
Coordinates the development and deployment of stroke educational plans, communicating updates on outcomes, process changes, and regulatory requirements
Organizes community education events to raise stroke awareness and prevention strategies
Develops and reviews evidence-based clinical pathways to standardize stroke care, ensuring timely implementation and updates
Evaluates stroke program metric performance, ensuring accurate reporting and sharing outcomes with committees and leadership
Rounds on stroke patients to provide education and support, participates in multidisciplinary rounds, and responds to stroke alert events

Associate's of Nursing (Required)
Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
Master's of Nursing
Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
Certified Neuroscience RN (CNRN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
