Responsibilities

Assist in the imagining and prototyping of new tech solutions and tools designed for higher education. This may include wireframing, coding, testing, and troubleshooting
Conduct research on emerging trends in educational technology, analyze competitor products, and compile reports to support strategic decision-making
Help create and maintain project documentation, including user feedback, specifications, schedules and training materials
Work closely with team members and other departments to gather requirements, provide updates, and contribute to brainstorming sessions
Serve as the primary liaison to the larger McGraw Hill college summer intern community, coordinating opportunities to gather feedback and insights from fellow interns. Actively provide your own feedback and advocate for higher education learners, ensuring their needs and perspectives are represented in our initiatives and solutions
Participate in testing phases for new products or features, provide detailed feedback, and assist in refining and improving prototypes
Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing project materials

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology, Innovation or a related field
Familiarity with software development processes
Strong analytical abilities with a keen interest in emerging technologies and trends in higher education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Preferred

Experience with data analysis or UX/UI design
