Bariatric Clin Database Coord
Cooper University Health Care is committed to extraordinary health care and is seeking a Bariatric Clinical Database Coordinator to assist in the operational facets of their bariatric surgical program. The role involves collecting and submitting reliable data to the bariatric database and working with the surgical team to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement.

Responsibilities
Assist in the facilitation of all operational facets of the Bariatric surgical program
Collect and submit reliable data to the bariatric database
Compile, document and enter data into the bariatric database for all eligible primary and provisional bariatric surgeries
Work closely with the members of the bariatric surgery team to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects
Ensure that the bariatric surgery program is up to date with best practices, including identification of performance improvement projects/activities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in a relevant acute care setting, preferably with bariatric patients
Graduate of an approved, accredited School of Nursing
Current licensure as a registered nurse in New Jersey
BLS required
Preferred
BSN preferred
Certified bariatric nurse preferred, must be obtained within 2 years of hire
