Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
Advising and mentoring students
Maintaining an active, externally funded research program that advances knowledge in the field
Demonstrating enthusiasm and energy to inspire students
Attracting students to the department’s programs
Demonstrating a strong record—or promise—of scholarly productivity through publications, sponsored research, and supervision of graduate research
Familiarity with contemporary research directions and methods in the candidate’s area of specialization
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with the degree requirements completed before the date of appointment
