Responsibilities
Build and analyze paid and incurred loss development triangles
Calculate, compare, and select age-to-age and cumulative development factors
Estimate ultimate losses and IBNR using factor-based reserving methods
Perform rate indication analyses including premium on-leveling and trending
Select and justify frequency and severity trends with clear documentation
Conduct large loss analyses using capping and truncation techniques
Prepare reserve exhibits and filing-ready workpapers in Excel and PDF formats
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in property and casualty actuarial reserving and pricing work
Strong experience building and auditing complex actuarial models in Excel
Familiarity with Workers Compensation, Auto, General Liability, or Umbrella lines
Experience using reserving tools such as Arius, ResQ, R ChainLadder, or similar platforms
Understanding of insurance data sources and policy systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek)
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
