The Procurement Intern supports the sourcing, purchasing, and contract management activities of the Procurement team, assisting with various procurement tasks and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities
Analyze spend data: cleanse, classify, and visualize spend by category, supplier, and cost center to identify potential value creation opportunities and compliance gaps
Maintain procurement records and content: update supplier files, contracts, catalogs, pricing lists, and other documentation
Assist with purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) processing in the P2P system: verify coding, attachments, approvals, and policy compliance to enable timely order placement
Contribute to process improvements: process map steps, identify bottlenecks, draft recommendations, and pilot small enhancements in tools or templates
Influence internal stakeholders through accurate data, timely follow-ups, and well-organized summaries that inform business decisions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an Associate's Degree program with a Business focus OR Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Master's degree Program (e.g. Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Related Field)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Familiarity with Excel (filters, pivot tables, lookups); experience with data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus
Exposure to ERP or P2P tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) is a plus
