Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations of the plant
Develop and implement policies and processes to maximize productivity, quality and safety
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
Screen, interview and manage onboarding process of new hires
Oversee all levels of plant personnel activity, evaluate performance, and support HR activities
Mentor employees and plan and provide training to staff as necessary
Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations
Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
Working with engineering and executive management to achieve company goals
Provide leadership and coordinate all Quality Management System activities with the Quality team
Ensure successful launch of new products
Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and manufacturing technology
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related field
Minimum 5 years in plant supervision/ management experience in automotive manufacturing environment
Strong Leadership Skills
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 etc.)
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Proactive problem solver
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Electric Vehicle experience
Wiring Harness experience
High Voltage experience
Knowledge of Electronics
EV Battery experience
