Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer - Analog

They are seeking an experienced Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer to design and develop complex analog circuits, troubleshoot electrical hardware, and implement VHDL code for hardware description.

Responsibilities
Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits
Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design
Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Strong background in power system design, electrical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and high-speed digital design
Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware
Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits
Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design
Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems
Preferred
Expertise in power system design: DC/DC: Buck, Boost, LDO, AC/DC
Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
Experience with multilayer PCB design
Design of safety significant circuits
Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries
Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design
Experience in high-speed digital design
