Business Support Specialist

Responsibilities

Provides direct administrative and operational support for division priorities as well as day-to-day projects and tasks
Produce reports, analysis, and PowerPoint presentations for internal/external stakeholders
Provide general business support to SVP
Work with SVP to prioritize strategic business needs and develop action plans
Supports SVP in maintaining calendars, coordinating travel, and coordinating internal and external meetings and events
Completing special projects and initiatives with SVP oversight and support
Supporting SVP in meetings, presentations, and events with thorough planning and coordination
Identifying areas of improvement across the businesses and making actionable recommendations
Liaison with IT

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree required
Bachelor degree may be substituted with four (4) years of directly related experience. Four (4) years of experience is in addition to stated experience requirements
3 years of combined experience in reporting and data analytics, executive support or advanced business support required
Prior Experience with reporting and data analysis, required
Communication: As someone who interacts with team members across all levels, must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure information and direction are clearly conveyed
Time management: As a steward of organizational efficiency and guardians of executive leaders' time, must exhibit exemplary time management skills. Must utilize organization and planning expertise to prioritize tasks, schedule meetings and resolve work
Requires strong reporting and analytics skills
Requires broad understanding of strategy and strategic planning
Accountable for medium and long-term tasks and more complex administrative requests and activities
Routinely uses judgement to resolve non-routine issues escalated from junior team members
Requires technical know-how and broad understanding the business unit and customer base
Advanced understanding of support discipline
Meets less clearly defined demands and influences staff
May have limited management responsibilities

Preferred

Prior Experience in corporate or commercial banking
