Sr ServiceNow Product Owner

ALTA IT Services, LLC is seeking a Plan-Facing ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions for customers. This role involves acting as the primary voice of the customer, facilitating discussions, managing product backlogs, and ensuring successful adoption of ServiceNow capabilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the plan-facing product owner , acting as the primary liaison between customer plans and internal delivery teams
Lead customer-facing discussions to understand workflows, conduct gap analyses , and assess solution readiness on the plan side
Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, defining epics, features, and user stories aligned to customer needs
Partner with Business Analysts, architects, engineers, and plan stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize enhancements
Build and maintain a clear product roadmap , communicating vision, progress, and upcoming releases
Present product strategy, updates, and solution recommendations to plan leadership and C-level audiences
Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject development work to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant solutions
Support Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in backlog grooming and refinement
Build strong, trusted relationships with customer plans and internal teams, ensuring alignment and successful adoption of solutions
Promote Agile principles and mentor team members as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Product Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years as a Product Owner or 6+ years in IT/business analysis, customer-facing solution delivery, or related fields
Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities; ServiceNow experience is required
Demonstrated experience in customer-facing or plan-facing roles (account management, consulting, or advisory preferred)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort engaging with C-level stakeholders
Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working within Agile teams

Preferred

ServiceNow certifications
Experience with enterprise environments, regulated industries, or SAFe frameworks
Background in solution adoption or transformation programs
