Responsibilities
Work at the intersection of consumable design, process, and product lifecycle to identify the main drivers of process capability, module interactions and sources of variability
Contribute to the characterization of novel sequencing consumables with an emphasis on end to end integration of manufacturing workflows
Assess requirements for data ingestion and ad hoc development of data visualization tools, such as yield and SPC charts. Perform data analyses on large manufacturing datasets to assess correlation, sensitivity, robustness and capability
Analyze inline QC, process, and material data and evaluate interactions between modules, effectiveness of test methods and specifications, and sensitivities in manufacturing environment to consistently deliver to product requirements and meet customer expectations
Effectively work within multidisciplinary teams including surface chemistry, mechanical design, optics, reagents, and fluidics
Plan, execute and analyze various complex experiments to optimize design/process parameters and determine root cause of failure modes
Independently drive characterization activities with the ability to strategically influence cross-functional stakeholders
